The Barlow Court Residence highlights thoughtful design choices that elevate everyday living, blending functionality with warm, welcoming finishes to create a beautifully balanced home.
Challenges
This home presented unique challenges around layout functionality and natural light. Several rooms felt disconnected, and the kitchen footprint needed more intentional storage and workspace. Our goal was to help the homeowner get better flow, better lighting, and better everyday use without raising costs unnecessarily.
Solutions
To improve the overall layout, we reworked key areas of the home including the kitchen, dining, and living spaces. We added custom cabinetry for better organization, expanded the kitchen island footprint, and selected finishes that brighten the home while staying timeless. Every design decision focused on blending functionality with comfort.
What’s Unique?
This project stands out for its cohesive palette and warm, welcoming style. The combination of soft grays, natural textures, and brass accents brings a subtle luxury throughout the home, while large windows anchor the space in natural light. It’s a perfect example of form meeting function — a home designed to be lived in and loved.
